Blood Type A

Individuals who have Blood type A usually practice an organized, harmonious and rhythmic life and they thrive in a positive community. According to Dr. D’Adamo, these people will find vegetarian diet very helpful and once they replace meat with veggies they will experience rapid weight loss.

In addition, it is believed that blood type A individuals should consume organic, pure and fresh/raw diets. Dr. D’Adamo says that such dietary adjustment is vital for the immune system of these individuals. Thanks to this diet, you’ll be able to boost the immune system and protect yourself from a myriad of serious diseases.

Blood Type B

Dr. D’Adamo claims that individuals with B Blood type are born in a way that allows them to change and adapt to any situation and environment. However, it is more likely that they will experience imbalance at some point of their lives because they create additional amount of cortisol as a result of increased stress levels.

According to his guide, these individuals are prone to weight gain because of the food they consume which affects the specific metabolic process like peanuts, wheat, tomatoes, chicken, buckwheat, corn, sesame seeds and lentils.

He also advises these people to eat rabbit, lamb, mutton, venison or goat instead of chicken and to stick to green veggies and dairy products low on fat.

Blood Type AB

These individuals usually have low levels of stomach acid, but they can easily adapt to any meat, which means that they can’t properly metabolize meat. The final result is storage of excessive amount of fat.

The good news is that these digestive problems can be solved easily. Instead of taking three large meals, Blood type AB individuals should take five or more smaller meals throughout the day. In addition, these people should stay away from caffeine and alcohol, especially when they are under pressure. Of course, they should eat more green veggies, dairy products, seafood and tofu. Dr. D’Adamo says that they should stay away from all cured and smoked meats because they are more prone to stomach cancer as a result of the low amount of stomach acid.

Blood Type 0

Blood type 0 people have relatively high stomach acid levels which mean that they can metabolize meals packed with protein and fat easily. They should feel free to eat meat, but stay away from simple carbs because they are converted into triglycerides and fats.

According to Dr. D’Adamo, they should eat organic meat, lean, veggies, fruits and eliminate caffeine, alcohol, wheat and dairy from their diet.
