You can find ACV almost everywhere, but if you prepare a homemade vinegar, you will save lots of money. Just take advantage of the apples and makes some organic ACV. Make sure you do not throw the usually unused parts such as cores and peels because they can also turn into organic ACV.

If you want to prepare an organic apple cider vinegar, you should use only organic apples. Although they can cost more than the regular apples, they are not loaded with some harmful chemicals. Therefore, you will reduce your medical expenses in the future.

If you can’t find some organic apples, do not worry. You can still get an organic ACV. In what way? Simply by discarding the apple’s peel. It’s the peel that contains all the fertilizers and pesticides, so by throwing it you will get an organic apple cider vinegar. Very simple, isn’t it?

To get the best organic ACV combine several types of organic apples. So, feel free to choose different apples. However, if you decide to use one single type, there is no need to worry.

One important thing to mention: you can use this organic ACV after several months. This because of the process of fermentation which requires several weeks. So, you can’t prepare your own ACV overnight. The more patient you are, the better the vinegar is.

Homemade Organic Apple Cider Vinegar Recipe

You need:

  • 3 organic apples (medium-sized, without stems)
  • 3 tsp. of raw sugar
  • Distilled water

Instruction:

  • Wash the apples well. Then chop them into small cubes, including the core. Make sure you remove the seeds. If you use regular apples, peel them before you chop them into cubes.
  • Sterilize a tall glass by washing it with water and soap in order to prevent the growth of any bacteria.
  • Fill the glass with the cubed apples.
  • In a cup of distilled water dissolve raw sugar and then pour it into the jar. It is important for the cubed apples to submerge into water, so add some water if necessary.
  • Cover the mouth of the glass jar with a piece of cheesecloth or some paper towel. Secure it with a rubber band. In this way, you will protect the mixture from small insects and dust.
  • Store the jar in a dark and warm corner of your house. You can store it in the pantry area. Let the mixture sit there for one month to provide the needed time for fermentation.
  • After one month, discard the apples and strain the mixture. Return the liquid back into the jar and cover it again in the same way.
  • Store the glass in the same place and let it sit for one more month. Make sure you stir the mixture every other day with a clean wooden spoon.
  • After one month, you can taste your apple cider vinegar. If it has the preferred acidity, pour it into a clean bottle. Then you can use as desired. If it needs more acidity, let it ferment one more month.
